Uffz/Fw Ernst Riepe, 9/JG 27
Does anyone have any information on this pilot? He had kills on 22 Jun, 27 Jun, 20 Jul, 10 Aug, 19 Aug 41, (there was another kill-any details?) before going missing on 19 Sep 41

I believe re recorded 2 victories on 27 Jun, both SB-2s S of Minsk at 17.26 and 17.28 respectively. Sorry, I don't have any further info regarding Riepe.

His loss his described in III. & IV./JG27 by Prien, Rodeike & Stemmer, on p. 140.
What do you mean with more detail?

Hi Chris,
"8 days later, on 19.09.41 9. Staffel missed with Fw.Ernst Riepe one experienced pilot more, he was shot down by free chase after the stuka escort task over the area Kolpino, he could hit the silk but remains MIA." I hope it is correct. Regards Robert

Hi Guys,
I am a ww2 photo-collector and 2 years ago I bought the entire private photocollection of Ernst Riepe from relatives of Ernst. He flew the Stuka A over Checz Republic and converted to the Bf 109 at the beginning of the war. If you guys would like, I can post some pictures of Ernst in this forum...
