I wonder if anyone could share any info on Dieter Schimidt-Barbo. I have just picked up a Robert Taylor print to which he is one of the signatures and I like to keep a record of all of the ones in my collection. I'm specifically looking for any claims of aircraft destroyed, unit and any awards. I believe his rank was Lt?

You can find a lot on the internet, his highest award was the Ritterkreuz.

I'm just checking he is not the same person as Dietrich Schmidt and has added a later Barbo to the name? He comes up regularly in internet searches but not Barbo
