Combat report Lt. J.R. McDonald, 338th FS, 55th FG, 14 Jan 1945
Hi guys
I am searching for the combat report of this individual from the US 8th Air Force on the named date, or any other report which mentions him. I'm trying to find out which aircraft were strafed at Fliegerhorst Giebelstadt by McDonald or any other pilots of his unit, how many, the possible types etc. Many thanks in advance!

For the 338th FS, here are the claims for January 14, 1945. Capt. Darrell S. Cramer damaged a Me 262 in the air near Parchim Airfield and damaged a Me 110 on the ground southeast of Salzwedel. McDonald claimed a Me 262 destroyed on the ground at Parchim. Lt. Francis R. Sharp destroyed a Me 110 on the ground southeast of Salzwedel and Lt. Hugh Bodiford damaged a Do 217 on the ground southeast of Salzwedel. All of these come from the Eighth Air Force Victory Credit Board reports.
