Looking for information of Ju 87 B-2 werknummer 5630

Good morning to all members.

Am looking for more details about a Ju 87 B-2 from II/StG 1 lost on the 10th June 1942 at Chudarajones (tried to find out where this is, but did not manage).

The machine seems to have carried the werknummer 5630, but I do not know the codes or crew names.

Does anyone do have more details about this machine? Percentage of damages or crew names or machine codes?

Is Chudarajones a correct name for a Russian town or city?

Thanks in advance

Adriano

Adriano,

Must have been Wnr. 5830, crash landing due to engine trouble. No names of crew known to me.

Regards,
Leendert

Leendert, thank you for pointing out the correct werknummer. I may need to change my glasses...

The place "Chudarajones" is correct? Did not manage to find where this is...

Thanks for the correction

Re: Looking for information of Ju 87 B-2 werknummer 5630

Now found the places and losses for the 10th June 1942 here:
http://samlib.ru/z/zhukow_sergej_ale...43217656.shtml

Thank you for pointing me the correct place Leo.

I have the image of this Ju 87 B-2, werk 5830 crash landing, this is why I was trying to determine which machine was involved on the crash...since I had only the dat of 10th June 1942. Now am almost sure tha this is the machine of my image.

Most humbly yours

Adriano

Re: Looking for information of Ju 87 B-2 werknummer 5630

Does any Russian or Ukrainian member of this board knows the place?
I have tried (Google, Google Maps, etc) but got no joy in finding the place, including variations of Чударахонео and Chudarakhoneo.

Any help most welcomed to ID the place.

A.

Re: Looking for information of Ju 87 B-2 werknummer 5630

Hello Adriano,
The specified name is a very strong distortion. "Чудо/Чуда/Чудар" (Miracle) may be the beginning, but everything that follows is very far from the Slavic names.

Perhaps it means Khudoyarovo/Chudojarowo (Худоярово) http://www.etomesto.ru/map-atlas_ost...56&y=49.717500

BR,
Kirill

Kirill,

Thank you very very much for your comments and information about Chudojarowo, which seems consistent with the area of operations of the II Gruppe of StG 1, then based at Charkow nearby.

My deepest gratitude Kirill, wishing you all the best.

Adriano
