Ray Parke, Lancaster flight engineer, 218 Sq

Jonny Cracknell @jonnycrackers82 · 4h Saddened to share the news that dear Ray Parke, WWII Bomber Command veteran, sadly passed away this weekend aged 99. Ray flew as a Flight Engineer with No.218 Sqn on Lancasters, surviving a tour of 40 Ops aged just 19. A privilege to get to know Ray - another hero gone 🫡
