I read in the Wikipedia article that Rudolf Walter Leonhardt got the German Cross in Gold when he was a German fighter pilot during WWII. What fighter unit was he in? How many air to air kills did he scored?

Re: Rudolf Walter Leonhardt,German Cross in Gold Holder
Nobody with those forenames in the DKiG or EP books; those that are with the same surname are from KG 3 and KG 4

Re: Rudolf Walter Leonhardt,German Cross in Gold Holder
The problem is that late DKiG are not in the books. Only the personnel records or other documents sometimes give an answer.
However, I also could not find anything on him as a Jagdflieger. |

I know that Wikipedia sometimes give information that don't make sense indeed.
