Re: Fw190 with 1000th Feindlug

Is it the 1000th for the pilot or for the squadron?

Re: Fw190 with 1000th Feindlug

The camouflage on the engine cowling looks like the type seen on photos of a line-up of aircraft from 2./NAGr. 13.

Re: Fw190 with 1000th Feindlug

REVI16,
It is unlikely that a NAGr 13 airman ever registered 1,000 combat sorties. Since the 500th Feindflug ceremony of 2./NAGr 13 was held in October 1943; and the images seems to have been taken at Cuers, the frame time for that 1,000th Feindflug ceremony would or could be between June and August 1944. The precise date was, sadly not recorded behind the known sold images.
The pilot who completed the milestone seems to be an Unteroffizier. Again, his name was not recorded behind the known sold images.
