Re: 452nd Bomb Group missing planes - book

Hallo all,

I would strongly recommend that viewers do NOT purchase this edition (first) of the book unless you are a collector.

I have a particular interest in the 452nd BG. I obtained my copy direct from the author for IIRC considerably less than $65.00. It was a 3rd edition with 221 pages. The author at the time had his own website but it seems to be gone in recent times. Up to very recently he was very much alive and selling his books. If anybody wants I can put them in contact with him.

Dutch historian John Hey has improved the book no end by providing much accurate and detailed information, but even so in its third edition it is full of errors and typos. However if you are interested in the 452nd BG it is a must-have and has certainly helped my own work.

In spite of the above I have no financial interest, etc, etc.

Buyer Beware !

Martin Gleeson.
