Hello Fred ( ?)

The 16/5/1940 at Rèves "Les Hayettes" (NW gare de Reves)
Damaged by a Fw-189 and finished by Fighters Me Bf-109 Oblt Redlich Wolfgang 1./JG 27
He force landed
N-2483 79Sqn Sgt Cartwright Harry (RTD)
Some sources said that this airplane was dismantled and hided in a barn during the war .
Are you sure that this airplane force landed in Braine-Le-Château ?because Rèves is much more on the west

If it helps, I have this:

79 SQUADRON, MERVILLE

Hurricane N2426. Shot down by Oberlt Redlich (Staffelkapitän) of 1./JG27 during attack on Fw189 of 9.(H)/LG2 near Braine-le-Comte and crashlanded near 'Les Hayettes', at Rêves p.m. Sergeant H. Cartwright believed unhurt. Aircraft abandoned.

I was not sure of the serial number (May 40 !!!) N-2483 or N-2426 !!
