Flightpath to Murder

(Hope you won't mind but a bit of publicity - I think forum members will be interested)

In September 1944 a young Allied fighter pilot force-lands his damaged aircraft deep into hostile enemy territory. He survives the crash but minutes later his life is taken . . .

My latest book Flightpath to Murder is about to go to the printers and due for publication in August. It concerns the shooting down, capture and murder of an Allied fighter pilot and the post-war war crime trial.

Re: Flightpath to Murder

Steve,

It would be nice to know which pilot this concerns. There were numerous of these cases and before buying a book, I would like to know which one is being described.

Regards,

John

Re: Flightpath to Murder

Hi John

The first part of the book deals with the investigation into the identity of the pilot - the exhumation, autopsy and follow up. It's part of the story. So to publicise the name would give the plot away a bit (although the publisher is considering a picture on the reverse cover which would give it away). So I don't really want to spoil it for any potential readers.

It's a fighter pilot, shot down in the second half of 1944 - but that's all I'll state here.

Regards

Steve
