Airman J. Czarnowski

Hi,

Can somebody help me with the fate relating to a Polish airman ? There is a headstone in the Polish War Cemetery at Lommel (Belgium) with this name and date :

R.A.F. J. Czarnowski killed on 31/7/1940

Thanks in anticipation.

Rgds.
