JG 300 Ofw. Werner Radant

Hello,

I´m searching informations and a picture of Ofw. Werner Radant. He was a member of 6./JG 300 and was killed in action in the night 24/25.April 1944.
He was born in Ueckermünde and buried in this city on the cementary.

Thank you for helping me.
Regards
Mirko

Re: JG 300 Ofw. Werner Radant

I am not able to edit my previous post for some reason?
I miss read your post and thought you had a photo of Radant. Sorry...
I suggest you pick up the book, "Jagdgeschwader 300" Vol I, written by Jean- Yves Lorant and Richard Goyat.
in this book you will find Radant mentioned several times. The book is available in English from www.eagle-editions.com
this is a wonderful book sure to make it into your top five favorite books.

FW190 A-6 equipped with FuG 217 neptune radar. also there is mention of Radant flying A-7.
The authors spent many years of hard work on these vol's, translated perfectly by Neil Page. I will say no more except....YOU NEED TO BUY THIS BOOK....you will not be disappointed, beleive me.
Now get ahold of Eagle Editions Ltd. and get your order in. LOL....
