Luftwaffe loses - Ju 52 at Cholm

Hello,

Are there numbers known from wich Ju 52 losses where counted in the Cholmarea during the period 15/01 towards 10/05/1942 ?

All information (plane numbers, crews, etc ...) on this subject is more then welcome and greatly appreciated.

For example on the date of 3 february 1942 several Ju 52 should have been damaged and where unable to fly away again from Cholm. One of Ju's was flewn by the pilot Ziller R.

Can anyone confirm this?, give more info, etc ...

Cordial greetings,

Re: Luftwaffe loses - Ju 52 at Cholm

Hello Andy,

Thank you for the usefull link and information. There are however more losses and i would like to be as complete as possible.

For example on the date of :

03.02.1942 : 2 planes lost

05.02.1942 : 1 plane lost

So there is much more to be found for sure, all help is welcome + i do hope that we can make a listing of all losses in that area.

Cordial greetings + thank you

Re: Luftwaffe loses - Ju 52 at Cholm

Guys,

I do have details of more losses at Kholm, and Demyansk, but have not yet posted them to the site - which will be revamped in the near future.

The losses recorded on the page could only be described as a sample....
not a complete listing.

Unfortunately, I cannot check my tables as they are not accessible from this PC.

For KGrzbV 9 if I recall correctly there were extensive lists of losses in early copies of Luftwaffe Verband (and what happened to the take over then..... sorry that's for another post).
