Uffz.Siegfried Beisbarth 22/04/1940 or 22/05/1940
Hi !
Uffz Siegfried Beisbarth is mentioned on the Volksbund website as killed at Leglise on 22/04/1940. Is this date correct or has it to be 22/05/1940 ? Was he killed in a planecrash ? Who has more details ? Many thanks and best regards Luc |

Hi Phil & Luc,
The French pilots were Ss-Lt Rouquette, Adjt-chef Bouvard and Sgt-chef Morel. Oblt.Kratzmann, the observer, was wounded (knee and head) and sent to the Longlier hospital. Fw. Schulte-Umberg (radio-gunner) was slightly wounded (foot and shoulder) and sent directly to Brussels. Rgds. |

Hi Phil and Montana,
Many thanks for your very interesting information. 'Ils étaient là ...' only mentions it in the list of victories - no details sa names of the French pilots etc. So the 2 crewmembers who got injured became pow. Best regards from another side of Belgium Luc |
