LW loss in England Oct. 8, 1944??

Hello!
Fw. Matthias Obermayer was a Beobachter in a KG and died on the above date, but i cannot find him in "The Blitz then and now". Maybe the plane was lost at sea. My card states that it was on a mission to England.
Does any of You know the circumstances about this loss?
Thank You in advance
Christian

Dear Christian,

Very interesting. I too have this sterbebilf for this man. So by asking you have found this information for me.

I have been collecting Leftwaffe sterbebild for several years and try to specialize in aircrew lost over England.

Do you collect specific theatres of war?

Rick
