Desert Beaufighter
Could somebody please tell me what squadron the code letters 'TJ' refer to. Could it be 272 Squadron RAF. I have a photo of a Beaufighter, serial T4766 and code TJ-L or TJ-D taken at Gambut, Libya about May 1942. I have checked all the books I have and it is not mentioned in code lists as a squadron.
Thanks for any assistance, Doug |

Re: Desert Beaufighter
TJ is indeed 272 Squadron in the desert. You need Combat Codes, by Flintham and Thomas.
