Has anything been written on what appears to be the least known Jagdgeschwader of the Luftwaffe?

By far the best source is J. Prien's 3 volume coverage written about 10 years ago. As usual, it is very well done. There were rumors that Schiffer was translating it into English, but I've hear nothing lately. |

Prien et al covered JG 11 together with JG 1 in:
Jagdgeschwader 1 und 11 Teil 1 1939 - 1943 Teil 2 1944 Teil 3 1944-1945 Excellent unit history, still available from Struve. Never had any regrets buying into his series of unit histories. If I had to choose they'd be part of my core collection.

we can see the covers ( and prices ...) from Prien's books on http://www.jagdgeschwader.net/ Other , Kagero editions have a book about JG 11 too from Marek J Murasky MIL N° 30 ISBN 83-89088-48-7 in polish language and english Best regards, Dan
