Curtiss Hawk 75 (Mowhawk) part numbers
I am trying to trace details of component part numbers for the Curtiss Hawk 75 (Mohawk). On P40A/B/C's the component parts were prefixed 81, what was the prefix for the Hawk 75?
Any information of help. Many thanks Trevor Matthews Last edited by Trevor Matthews; 5th April 2007 at 12:35. Reason: spelling mistake |

Trevor
Part Numbers are for Mohawks are prefixed with 75, 81 for Tomahawks and early P-40's (although I understand some parts also had 75 prefixes) and 87 for Kittyhawks Buz |

Re: Curtiss Hawk 75 (Mowhawk) part numbers
Hi, my personal idea is 75 prefix was for P-36,
81 for P40-A-B-C, and 87 for E types, hier in attached pic part from French curtiss N°151 (P-36) Best regards, Dan
