Maybe someone can help, I'm a little confused.

Looked at this photo:

At first, I thought the picture was taken with orthochromatic film (or whatever it is that makes yellow look dark, etc.) and that explained the odd roundels, but the aircraft in the back doesn't appear to have the same problem - its roundels look fairly normal. Could the aircraft in the foreground have roundels with the colors reversed? It doesn't make any sense to me, anybody have an explanation?

hi;

It was the yellow part that shows dark on Orthocromic film. That blue was simply two shades used in paralell (prewar was simply daker?)
