Re: 2.Jgr.126

Hallo RT

Since this "incident" is not in Priens Jagdfliegerverbände Teil 2, can you please advise your source? Also why do you believe the pilot was killed?

Cheers
Stig

Re: 2.Jgr.126

The source is a list of losses concerning the Zerstörers units, this list based on the GVM nd NVM nd Litterature, is pretty complete nd I don't found mistakes until now, in this list there is a casualty but not named
I hv to add that date fot sure is november but could be 8. 18. or 28...
the wn is clearly indicated, for that period its "seldomly" indicated

Re: 2.Jgr.126

Hello Rémi,

I have one loss report for the WNr.864 on the 18.11.39
2./JGr.101 N.N.(†), unintended ground contact - crashed, near Stade - 100%

The plane was (according the Werknummer) a E-3, not s D-1.
My source are also Prien's JFVs.

best regards,
Tomi

Wink Re: 2.Jgr.126

Hi RT,

JGr 126 was the temporary designation of III./ZG26 during winter 39 ~ spring 40. This came about because at that time there was not enough Bf-110s to fully equip all the ZG gruppen.
