Me109 crashes Hampshire 1940
Can anyone give me any information about the crash on the 14-10-40 at 0720hrs of 12+ Bf 109 E7 7./JG2. It was alleged to have crashed at Sway, Hampshire following combat.
Also information relating to a similar incident at Milford on Sea the folowing day. Thanks Del1701. |

Re: Me109 crashes Hampshire 1940
The first was flown by Ogefr Johann Lux and a victim of 'high altitude sickness' and is believed to have come down at Sway; the second came down at Everton, Bf 109 E-1, 3279, white 10 of 4/JG 2 Gefr Alois Pollach POW (shot down by 609 Sqn). I am afraid no photos of either pilot or crashes
