P-47D Razor

I'm currently working on a commission of a P-47D razorback of the 411th FS,
373rd FG. Time-frame: Nov/Dec 1944.

I have a photo which shows it in NMF. I believe this squadron had no colour scheme as such?

The photo only shows the front end so I would like to confirm the markings that would be used. I believe 'U9' was the squadron code?

Yes you are correct in the codes are U9 for the 411 FS.
The 373 FG had no special markings except the regular thearter bands in this case black for none camo. aircraft.
It will be interesting to see this .

Group Markings - Black Nosebands and
Black Horizontal Tail Stripe on NMF P - 47s.
