![]() On 10th October 1940 an aircraft dropped two land mines over the town of Scarborough on the North East Yorkshire Coast in the UK. Time of detonation was 2100Hrs. Two mines were dropped, one exploded in the town immediately, one exploded six days later sinking a fishing boat and killing all the crew...How can I find the squadron to which this aircraft belonged and also the base from which it flew? johnblawton
