I,m looking for a picture of the crew of B-17 42-97534 452BG the plane crashed on 25 November 1944 at Haaren-Germany a small place on the Dutch border. 2 crewmembers where POW the rest KIA. Michel |

The history (as you might be aware of is as follows) There were 16 B.17's named "Patches" 42-97534 - Del Denver 14/12/43, Newark 11/1/44, Langley 12/1/44, ass 482BG(H2X) Alconbury 25/1/44, trans 413BS/96BG (MZ-A) Snetterton 5/1/44 (named PEE WEE), 728BS/452BG Deopham Green 26/1/44, MIA Merseburg 25/11/44, pilot Cophen, flak damaged and crashed Schweinfurt, 7KIA, 2POw's MACR 11049 now named "PATCHES" Sorry no photos. dakota. |
