Crimea airfield
Hello
I have found in a flight log of a pilot from FluB/VIII. Fliegerkorps the following name of an airfield: Ing. VII or Img. VII or Imz. VII ? I think, this is an abreviation. It must be a group of airfiels, as I found also the designation "VIII", "IX". The time of this was May and June 1942, the time of the battle of Sewastopol. Does anybody know the right name of this airfield ? best wishes JoMe |

Re: Crimea airfield
I cannot answer the question, but I also know that there was an airfield near Sevastopol which was called "6th Versa". I don't know what that means, but maybe it is an AF from the same group?
