A pity that we couldn't hv better resolution of last pictures from RCMilitaria.
5K+ wreck in african surroundings is a bit strange, never heard of any activity of the KG 3 in DAK, plane looking as an Do17...consistent of the equipment of the unit ...in 1940.

Pretty good conditions here. Winter finally came around mid-November after a miserable summer and September.

The Ju 88G-6 WNr. 620 742 kinda puzzles me a little bit. As I wrote, NJG 1 used the field extensively during late 1944 and early 1945, yet the USAAF tech intell team that inspected it didn't report any Ju 88s there as of 8-9 Apr. 1945. Soooooooo. . . .

Hope you're doing okay up there in Canada land. Guess you're retired now, that is, if the substrata haven't shifted!

G-4/Trop of 6./JG27 at Trapani-Milo, Spring to June 1943. Same machine in JFV 11/I page 185.
