Me109 Yellow Eastern Front band...
As far as the yellow Eastern Front bands go...were there any "specific" Jagdgeschwader which had the yellow band just above the tailwheel?
I have the rear tailcone from an Me109G which was recovered in Russia, but I have no history on it. There are remains of YELLOW paint covering "9 section" in it's entirety...but I cannot find any pics of other examples on the web... I have seen a lot of Fw190's with this similar section painted with JG54... Thoughts? Mike |
