501Sqn Claim by P/O.Hewitt 11/7/40.

Hi,

Not sure if this has been covered before.

On the 11th July 1940 P/O. Hewitt from 501 Sqn claimed an "Enemy Hurricane" destroyed some 4 miles West of Portland. time 12.10.

Anyone have details of this action and what type was the enemy a/c ?
