B-17G 43-38199 in soviet service?
Gentlemen,
B-17G 43-38199 was with the 335th BS, 95th BG when damaged on Feb 15, 1945 and crash landed on soviet territory. This site: http://home.att.net/~jbaugher/1943_2.html states that the crew survived and the aircraft entered the soviet air force. Are there by chance any photographs of this plane, either in US or VVS service? Thanks, Christian |
