Mosquito losses over nothern Adriatic

Gentlemen, recently I've noticed this aircraft part on the island of Unije (northern Adriatic). It was raised from sea about 10 miles west the island and has it's origin probably from an Mosquito aircraft (tip of horizontal stabilizer).

Now I'm interested in any information about Mosquito losses in that area. Unfortunately I can't narrow the time span. So I appreachiate any help I get from you.

Regards,

Kurtl
