Re: Recherche Ju88 Normandie
I have the following:
April 04, 1941 - Ju 88 A5 - WNr 6146 - II./KG 54 - Emergency landing caused by engine failure - near "ERUGLES" - A/C 70%. Could this be the one you're after? Regards, Rudi. |

Re: Recherche Ju88 Normandie
Hello Rudis
Information very interressants. Apparently, it is one of three aircraft involved. Where did you get this information? Have you knowledge of crew and be a little more specific? I have no idea where it fell. I know that those of August 13 and October 25 were placed on the belly. Thank you for your help. A more .... |

Re: Recherche Ju88 Normandie
Nothing is apparent for 13 Aug & 25 Oct 40. For 4 Apr 41, it would appear that there were no crew casualties so nothing was recorded

Re: Recherche Ju88 Normandie
Ju 88 6146 CF+VP assembled by Nord-Deutche Dornier Werke, then (B3+BM ?) dam 70% - was repaired, reverting to Stkz. CF+VP (early 1942), stolen, forcelanded in fjord in Norway, raised from seabed in 2002, and from 2006 is in store in Teknikmuseum Berlin.

Hello edNORTH,
If I understood correctly, the WNr. 6146 initially focused code B3 + BM in 1941 and after restoration has brought the Code CF + VP in 1942? Correct? If yes, it really is incredible that he was out of the water and then restored! Thank you for the website. Really interresting To be continued .... |

Re: Recherche Ju88 Normandie
No. Code of 6146 was first CF+VP 1940, then (B3+BM 1941), then again CF+VP after repair/re-build (1942). I hope you now understand.
