Re: john Gilbert R/109675 78 Squadron

The CWGC entries for the other 2 crew killed are:

Name: GALL, HERBERT MAURICE
Initials: H M
Nationality: Australian
Rank: Sergeant
Regiment/Service: Royal Australian Air Force
Age: 27
Date of Death: 06/08/1942
Service No: 405205
Additional information: Son of William and Martha Christina Gall, of Merinda, Queensland, Australia.
Casualty Type: Commonwealth War Dead
Grave/Memorial Reference: 8. G. 2.
Cemetery: JONKERBOS WAR CEMETERY

and

Name: CLARKE, JOHN WILLIAM
Initials: J W
Nationality: United Kingdom
Rank: Sergeant (W.Op./Air Gnr.)
Regiment/Service: Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve
Unit Text: 18 Sqdn.
Age: 29
Date of Death: 06/08/1942
Service No: 943810
Additional information: Husband of Mabel Clarke, of Grimsby, Lincolnshire.
Casualty Type: Commonwealth War Dead
Grave/Memorial Reference: 12. I. 1.
Cemetery: JONKERBOS WAR CEMETERY

and it looks as if 78 Squadron was incorrectly transcribed as 18 Sqdn.
