DBU plate , Fw190 ?
Hello gentlemen ,
I've found a very small plate marked DBU on a Fw190 crash-site in Normandy, what is it related too ? The pilot is still buried with his plane ( spring 1943 ) but has not been identified yet. Nobody seems to care about this indeed. Zorglub |

Re: DBU plate , Fw190 ?
Zorglub,
The three letters, “dbu,” that you found on a small plate from an Fw 190 wreck may in fact be a Hersteller (factory) code. If so, they would represent: Armaturenfabrik Lindner & Co., Rabenstein (Bay). Steve Sheflin |
