Tempest SD-T 501 Squadron

Hi guys

SD-T carried out a belly-landing on 30 October 1944. I can't find the serial number. Can anyone help, please.

Cheers
Brian

Re: Tempest SD-T 501 Squadron

Not sure if this will help or not, http://www.hawkertempest.se/berry.htm
"SD-F (EJ600), in which Joe was killed on Oct 1 1944. Joe also flew SD-L (EJ590), SD-M (EJ603), SD-Q (EJ584), SD-P (EJ 608), SD-C (EJ596) and ZQ-Y while flying with 501 Squadron."

Looks like it could be in the EJ580-EJ610 range.

Regards,

EJ656, u/c jammed up, wheels up landing Bradwell Bay. Flg Off Ralph Stockburn ok. Repaired on site by Hawker working party, to 20 MU Aston Down 7 Dec 44. Possibly back to 501 but later to 3, 33 and 174 Sqns.
