Need help with Bücker Bu 131 W.Nr.

Hello All,
I´m trying to obtain any available information on a Bücker Bu 131 D currently in storage in Brasil. It´s W.Nr. is 173 built 2.7.38. Several Bu 131 went to Brazil prior WWII but I do not have all their W.Nr so can´t try identify this plane.
Any help much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I have this WNr. as a A-1 that crashed on 22 Dec 1940 near Vlissingen Holland being damage 80% and belonging to 1o./NJG 1. But this Werknummer is not confirmed.

Oh! Sorry. I think it´s the fuel tank W.Nr. not the airplane!

Yes, I got several photos from this plane. We suspect belongs to the batch of 16 machines bought from Germany and assembled in Rio de Janeiro before WWII. I asked a friend to check the plane again. Anyone knows where the original W.Nr. plaques where placed? Outside close the fuselage struts?

According to our info the w.nr is 7173.

The plane crashed due to engine failure in the Westerschelde near Vlissingen and the crew was ok.
