Re: crashed Ju 87 WNr. 304, T6+CD on ebay

Bf110,

This is almost certainly one of these two a/c, as reported in the EOE Data Base:

1) June 5, 1940: Stab III./StG2 Junkers Ju87B-1. Badly damaged in attack by S/Lt Baptizet and Lt Hlobil of GC II/4 during sortie to attack troops near Morchain and crash-landed in flames 2km south of Monceau-le-Neuf 9.40 a.m. BF Uffz Bruno Selck killed, FF Lt Richard Schaffner (Gruppenadjutant) badly wounded - died same day in Laon hospital. Aircraft 100% write-off.
Bruno Selck was originally buried in a field grave adjacent to the crash site south-west of the D64 and D967 cross-roads but was reinterred postwar in Fort-de-Malmaison War Cemetery; Block 6, Row 14, Grave 633.

2) June 8, 1940: Stab III./StG2 Junkers Ju87B-1. Shot down by Moranes of GC III/2 in combat south of Soissons during attack on Vierzy and crashed at Mareuil-en-Dôle 8.00 p.m. BF Gefr Herbert Schreiber killed, FF Oberlt Kurt Hamann (Gruppenadjutant) baled out and captured wounded – later released. Aircraft 100% write-off.

If anyone has any additional photos or info that would help us determine which of these incidents is represented by these two photos, I would greatly appreciate hearing from you. I know it's a long shot, but is anyone on this site able to visit either of these locations to confirm the terrain or the road visible in these crash photos?

Does anyone have any photos of another Stab III./StG2 aircraft, possibly T6+BD, that crashed during the WC?

Regards,
