Johann Geismann
Geismann started with 1/606, awarded DKiG 1942, then to I/KG 77 being awarded the RK at the end of 1942. He ended the War on NJG 6-any idea of his fate? Again, he was alive in Jan 45
|

I should have said IV/NJG 1-he was alive in 1990

Geismann also survived the war as a Hptm, he died 15Aug94.

Hi Chris,
Geismann died in Aurich. Do you know anything about his career after he was awarded the RK and before he re-mustered as a Nachtjäger. Did he continue to fly with 1/KG77? Cheers Andy Fletcher

Andy: He started with 606 which then became I/KG 77 but I have no idea when or why he transferred. KG 77 was subsumed within KG 26 aftre D-Day so assume that the transfer occurred then. His awards came quite early on
