got the book, haven't started reading yet. Quality of printing & paper very good, and Mr. Barratt came up with a brilliant idea: all the maps (142 - yes, onehundredandforty -of them) are compiled in a separate volume. So there is no leafing back & forth, plus the maps are large ( 1 to a page).

Richard,
Does it provide any 1st hand events from the German ground forces (infantry, panzer, etc) and Luftwaffe in the fighting or is it Generals and staff officers views of the fighting only? Can't bear to read another dry facts book. |
