Wrecked Beaufort in France

Hello,
Thanks to e-bay and Ed West
we have this wrecked 217 Squadron Beaufort that crashed in France.

Looks like it could be -

"MW-F" serial number "W6494" shot down by flak at Carpiquet, France on 13th May 1941.( Beaufort File). 12th May 1941 (CCL vol 1 Ross McNeill).
Crew of four
Sgt. DER Elwood +
Sgt. GT Hardwick +
Sgt W Bennett pow
Sgt GAD Ritchie pow

Anyone confirm ?

Hi Alex,

That's it! Serial W6494 : after some close exam and photo treatment I believe we can read the serial number clearly enough.
