I am assuming that this Toulon is the city on the southern coast of France. My current data lists no losses even remotely near that area. Of course, large chunks of 1944 data are still missing.
Are you sure about the date?

Yes, I'm sure about the date. One of the 332nd FG pilots claimed 3 FW-190s on this date. They were doing bomber escort duty and the FW-190s attacked the bomber formation. Its a puzzler. Carlos
