R Nesbit/G Warner
Hi from S Africa.
I am desperately looking for Roy Nesbit. In his book The Armed Rovers in the photo section he has a photo of the attack on Prosperina. It is credited to R Hayward. I am trying to find out where they got that photo. Also if other photo's were taken at the time. I am currently busy on a book on 15 SAAF and would like to use it. If you have the originals can you let me know how I can get hold of it and who the copyright belongs too. Thanks Stefaan Bouwer

Re: R Nesbit/G Warner
I believe Roy Nesbit is (or was) employed by the Public Records Office - now the National Archive in Kew.
Graham Warner was closely associated with the Blenheim that flies out of Duxford. |

Re: R Nesbit/G Warner
My guess would be that the R Hayward cited in the photo credit is Roger Hayward, author of Air Britain's 'The Beaufort File'. If so, a letter to him c/o Air Britain might get you in touch.
There is an address for Roger Hayward given in The Beaufort File, but that was 1990 and this is now. I you'd like it anyway PM me. Hope this helps NiallC |
