Is any one able to help me with what was the rank and position of ALLEN, William David Bruce, service nr 1195055?

Hello,

Dakota KG512, was not involved in "Market Garden". It was flying a resupply mission to the 2nd British Army. The pilot's surname was HARTLEY, not HARTEY, and the correct date was the 21st September, 1944.
