Uffz. Averberg, 4/KG27, 01.05.1941
Uffz. Rolf Averberg (Bf), 4/KG27, He111P (2604), Crashed in the Channel off Shoreham, West Sussex on 01.05.1941. Listed as killed.
Records at Kriegsgräberfürsorge have: Uffz. Rolf Rudolf Averberg, born: 02.02.1919 at Bremerhaven, died 14.07.1941 in the sea off the English coast. Can anyone confirm if this is the same person?

Srob48, Uffz Rolf Averberg Ekm No 62684/139 I have as being buried at sea on 14.7.41. His Bm. Fw.Heinrich Platt was washed ashore on 19.6.41.
