Biesmann or Eisenmann?
Okay, I like Prien's JFV series but have found some problems with the Teil 12 as of late. The current one is with a 5/JG 52 listing. In JFV 12/II page 382.
28.04.43 5./JG 52 Uffz. Werner Biesmann Jak 1 (1) 11.33 PlQu. 34 Ost/85181 Now to Tony Woods list 28.04.43 Uffz. Manfred Eisenmann 5./JG 52 Yak-1 85181 at 6,500 m. 11.33 Which name is correct? I've read that "Eisenmann" was a member of JG 400. |

Re: Biesmann or Eisenmann?
Bernd Barbas, in Die Geschichte det II. Gruppe des Jagdgeschwaders 52, notes Eisemann for the Abschuss on 28 April 1943.

Re: Biesmann or Eisenmann?
Nattuppen, Thanks. It should be listed as Manfred Eisenmann 5./JG 52 in JFV 12/II for his 1st victory which would make the other two listed as 2. and 3. instead of 1. and 2.. Found some more that I will put in the corrections section.
