Re: F1+LM and F1+HP
Claude,
I guess from your posts that you are working on something about the convoy attacks in the Mediterranean in early 1944. If that is so, why not start a single thread on that subject, so that all your questions are in one place? |

You are perfectly true Nick, but I always fear that a question too long and dense does not get any response.

Re: F1+LM and F1+HP
Thanks Ed,
but I thought 550732 was the WNr of Ju-88 A-17 3Z+AT (pilot Uffz. Kurt Langendorf) of 9./K.G.77 which landed in Spain following operation of night 11 to 12 july 1944. Info found on following site (but the source may be incorrect) : http://incidentessgm.blogspot.fr/sea...kers%20Ju%2088 Regards Claude |

Re: F1+LM and F1+HP
Have Kurt Lanzendorf on 622601 3Z+AT. Unfortunately Websites are not the holy truth, unfortunately they are as good as it happens (or as bad) but errors can be there as well in NVM, it happens; but info is from Luftwaffe NVM, very meticulusly compiled at WASt by our TOCH! member Matti Salonen. -Ed

Re: F1+LM and F1+HP
Which unit were they flying with, so late in the war, KG 26?

Re: F1+LM and F1+HP
according Alexander Steenbeck, 6 planes of II/KG26 and 2 of III/KG26 were lost on that date, shot down by Mosquitoes, while trying to attack a convoy on the east coast of Scotland. Langendorf's crew is listed in the losses of II/K.G.26.
