I/JG27 loss , Normandy , 1943 .
Hello gentlemen ,
Could a nice fellow identify plane and pilot of that unit lost on 13 March 1943 at 3.30 pm ? Pilot bailed out , slightly wounded when hitting the ground near Neuchâtel . Thank you . Zorglub

There were 3 losses that day, 2 pilots killed so the remainder is Lt Karl-Heinz Erdmann of 1 Staffel who baled out near Poix in Bf 109 G-4, 16159, White 2. there were 4 claims between 1508 and 1531 hrs so that would match especially as one of the claimants was killed

FCWD Part 3 John Foreman has Erdmann crash landing and a 2 1/2 page account of the combat this day.
