Allan W R Trigg 172 Squadron 12Aug42
Could anyone help me with Allan W R Trigg's full name and whereabouts he came from ? As I've a couple of papers saying he came from Malvern Australia and two saying Elwood, Victoria, Australia.
Solved it: William Russell: Malvern Victoria, Australia Many Thanks Andy Bird Last edited by andy bird; 28th March 2017 at 19:18. Reason: Solved Answer |

Hello,
Well... not quite. His correct surname is TRIGGS, not TRIGG. Triggs was born in Malvern, Victoria, as stated. At the time of his enlistment in the RAAF, he resided in Elwood, a bayside suburb in Melbourne, Victoria. Col. |

Hello Andy,
At the time of his enlistment in the RAAF (14/9/1940), Triggs was employed by the National Bank as a Bank Clerk in their Prahran (Victoria), Branch. One fact you won't find in Trigg's papers, is mention of him Ferrying a Hudson from Dorval to the UK. Not sure of the exact date, but sometime between 17/12/1941- 9/1/1942 (subject to correction).
