Found a fw-190 steuerknupfel(joystick)

Hello everybody,
I am a luftwaffe collector From Holland and new to this forum.
2 weeks ago i bought a fw-190 a8-R8 joystick that was found near Frankfurt am oder(not Frankfurt am main!) the Guy who digged it up told me that the joystick was from a fw-190 who attacked bridges on the oder river in march 1945. Probably it was a fw 190 that belonged to IV jg3 ore II jg 300.

Now, my question is does anybody has Some information about this fw-190? Who could be the pilot? I have pictures on my phone of the joystick but cant upload them here. Please if you have questions ore information send me an e-mail to: info@viskwartier.nl

Thank you for time!

hey,
aren't there any number-codes on the joystick?
stamped or lacquered ...

maybe this helps to identify?
and maybe it is an unknown aviator grave?

best regards

Hi,

The numbers on the plate and molded into the grip won’t help you identify the plane as they are stick specific, but not aircraft specific. However, many early-to-mid production Fw190 sticks had the aircraft ‘s serial number painted in white onto the stick. But I doubt that you can see this on a ground dug stick.

The numbers you posted are the Fl Number and Gerät Number if the KG 13B:

Fl 47919
102-288B

Regards
Riger
