Circus against Cherbourg:3 spitfires lost (around 15h/16h)according my sources.

I miss the 3rd.

8 spitfires lost that day:

According to Foreman, losses for the whole day were:


15 Apr: 2 Spits 234 Sqn plus one from 222 Sqn, Cat E 485 & 616 Sqn
16 Apr: 2 Spits 234 Sqn, Cat E 91 and 121 Sqn, Hurricane 175 Sqn

I raised this matter a few years back where I thought the Woods lists missed out some details about 485 Sqn and the Kenley Wing on 16 April 1942.
