Aircraft performance tables

Just a question about abbreviations used in these tables. Speeds are given for 'V' and 'D' which I take to be maximum (Vollgas) and sustained (Dauerleistung) but can anyone confirm or correct that?

To give an example, the Ju 188 F-1:

V = 500/6.2
D = 480/9

[I read the figure after the oblique as altitude in km]

V: Volldruckhöhe
D: Dienstgipfelhöhe
a) Dauerleistung
b) Kampfleistung

V= a) 500/6,2
.....b) 540/6,2
D= b) 480/9

If it is from RL 16, description is given in one of the first pages.

Re: Aircraft performance tables

Volldruckhöhe (Full Pressure Altitude)
a) Dauerleistung (Continuous Power): 500 km/h at 6.2 km
b) Kampfleistung (Combat Power): 540 km/h at 6.2 km
D: Dienstgipfelhöhe (Service Ceiling)
b) Kampfleistung: 480 km/h at 9 km
Explanation of terms:
Full Pressure Altitude (V): The altitude at which the supercharger reaches maximum efficiency, resulting in the highest top speed.
Service Ceiling (D): The maximum altitude the aircraft can reach while maintaining a minimum rate of climb.
Continuous Power (a): The maximum speed for long-distance flight without engine damage.
Combat Power (b): Increased performance for a limited duration (usually 30 minutes) during air combat.
